Hello,
Welcome to the class blog. I will be posting tomorrow after school and every Monday through Thursday thereafter. My plan is to get this on the school website, but the tech department currently is dealing with many more important matters than getting me access to the school site. I have created this blog as a temporary communication tool to help you keep up to date on what is happening in your child's class at school. I don't know if I will end up getting a link to this blog on the school site, or have to create another one on the site, but the purpose will remain the same. Hopefully you can see a homework and events calendar above. I will put in the daily assignments on that calendar.
This site is for parents and guardians. It came to my attention that many students were reading the blog last year. That is fine with me, but I don't post the homework as an alternative to students writing in their assignment notebooks. This is a back up, and also a way for parents to check to make sure that their child's entries in their assignment books are complete and accurate.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow. We have been getting the new rooms ready for quite awhile and it is definitely time to add the key missing ingredient: children.
I'll write more after school tomorrow. I hope it will be a great start to a fantastic year.
